PLAYGROUND UPDATE

We’re excited to share that progress is continuing at the Hamilton Township Park playground! As you can see in these photos, the site has now been fully prepared and is ready for the new mulch installation.

We’re just as excited as you are to see the finished product and can’t wait to welcome everyone back to an updated play space for our community to enjoy. Thank you for your continued patience and support!

The City of Columbus is transitioning water and sewer customers from quarterly billing to monthly billing.

Residents should watch for information regarding when this change will take effect for their account. While the total amount owed over time should remain similar, bills will arrive more frequently and reflect one month of usage instead of three.

Customers with questions about their accounts are encouraged to contact Columbus Water and Power's customer service office at 614-645-8276 or email [email protected]

So far, more than 58,000 water and sewer customers have been converted to monthly billing. The remaining accounts will be converted to monthly billing in July.

Hamilton Township Park - Playground Update:

We wanted to share a quick update on the playground project at 5333 Lockbourne Road. Our crew has begun removing the old mulch in preparation for the installation of the new playground equipment.

We know many of you are excited to see the finished project, and we appreciate your patience. Projects like this involve several steps, including site preparation, equipment delivery, installation, and safety measures to ensure the playground is built correctly and will serve our community for years to come.

We know the kids are eager to play, and we're just as excited to see the new playground come to life. Thank you for bearing with us while we build something special for our community!

PUBLIC NOTICE - SPECIAL MEETING

The Hamilton Township Board of Trustees will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hamilton Township Community Center, 6400 Lockbourne Road.

The Board may enter into Executive Session pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 121.22(G)(1) to consider the employment of a public employee.

Stay cool this summer with a FREE box fan from the Franklin County Office on Aging.

Eligible residents must be Franklin County residents, age 60 or older and schedule a pickup date in advance.

Available pickup dates begin May 28 and continue through Sept. 1 at Memorial Hall, 280 East Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Delivery is available only for homebound seniors. Please call (614) 525-6200 to schedule a delivery.
