Yesterday was a great day for Courtney Cropper and Tyler Gates to do some electrical safety training at the 4H superhero summer camp. They were able to teach electrical safety while demonstrating how electricity can make a pickle glow, a grapefruit blow up, and a hot dog cook from the inside out. The kids walked away with more in-depth knowledge about the dangers of electricity, and what to do if they ever encounter unsafe conditions around power lines.

For Colorado City residents, here are some pictures of what caused the power outage last night. Thank you for your patience as the crews searched for the problem and then worked to repair it. The elbow in one of the transformer boxes went bad, so it took a little longer to find the issue. Thanks again for your patience.
