On August 21st, students of the senior 2027 class came together for Senior Sunrise. At this event, students were treated with donuts and energy drinks to get the day started. Many played co****le, listened to music, and took pictures. This is a tradition we plan to keep up for years to come!

Thank you to the Pittsboro Fire Department and the Pittsboro Police Department for their very swift response and help today at Pittsboro Elementary School. The fire department determined a short in an electrical outlet set off the alarm. There were no students in the building, staff were evacuated and no damage to the building occurred. The drills we practice were put to good use and the thorough examination of the school by the fire department to ensure safety for all is very welcome. It is very reassuring to know we have fantastic safety services in place in our community if the need arises and today's help proved that once again.
