This weekend, our 8th grade students enjoyed a memorable Semi-Formal in the MHS foyer and courtyard, transformed for an Evening in NYC! From dancing and music to spending time with friends, it was a night filled with fun, laughter, and great memories.

Genesee Valley BOCES Capital Improvement Project Vote

On Tuesday, June 9, the Livingston County Board of Elections and Genesee Valley BOCES will be using the Livonia CSD Transportation Facility as one of several polling sites for the Genesee Valley BOCES Capital Improvement Project vote.

Genesee Valley BOCES provides a number of services to LCS students, including hands-on Career and Technical Education. Livonia currently sends more than 80 students to BOCES for Career and Technical Education programs each year.

Please note that this is not a vote on a Livonia CSD capital project. Livonia CSD is simply serving as a polling location for this regional BOCES vote.

There was plenty of excitement as seniors received their yearbooks and spent time sharing memories, signing pages, and celebrating the end of an unforgettable chapter. This year, many seniors devoted the entire block to passing yearbooks around and collecting messages from classmates, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

A special shoutout to Mrs. Vance and the Yearbook Staff for creating a truly beautiful keepsake. From the whimsical design to the stunning illustrations by Mrs. Metzler, this year's yearbook is a work of art that captures the spirit of the school year in a unique and meaningful way.

For this special tradition, our 4th grade band students invite a family member or friend to join them on stage for a performance. The stage was packed with musicians of all ages, creating a memorable evening filled with music, laughter, and community spirit.

One guest performer shared that she looks forward to participating every year, but this was her last 4th grader. We're hoping someone finds a way to keep Mrs. Dudley playing with the Community Band in the years ahead! 😊

Thank you to everyone who helped make this annual tradition such a success. What a fantastic way to celebrate another year of music in Livonia!
