Born in 1898, Lewis Burwell "Chesty" Puller, was a colorful veteran of the Korean War, four World War II campaigns and expeditionary service in China, Nicaragua and Haiti. He was one of the most decorated Marines in the Corps and the only Leatherneck ever to be awarded the Navy Cross 5 times for heroism and gallantry in action.⁠⁠

The NSW/Seal obstacle course is one of the most challenging courses you can go through in the United States military—With over 20 obstacles you must complete within the allotted time. ⁣

Here we see Recon Marines from the current Basic Reconnaissance Course [BRC] completing this grueling course attempt to beat the 10 minute MAX time set forth by the Recon Instructors⁣

[However the MAX time allotted for the Navy is 15 min per Navy publications]⁣
