Several years ago Park High Green Initiative students participated in a summer internship at the Park County Environmental Council. During their time there, they created a great guide for the community to get started biking to school. In honor of their work and with Bike to School coming up this Friday, we wanted to utilize their hard work again. Thank you, Park High Graduates Annika Coleman, Stella Davis, and Severn Sienkiewicz.

Livingston Public Schools has the best school nurses in the world. When our students find themselves in a health predicament, Nurse Holly and Nurse Tori bring powerhouse care to the problem and make any situation better. We are incredibly lucky to have such an amazing set of medical professionals in our district. Thank you, Nurse Holly and Nurse Tori, for the heart you constantly pour into your jobs and the hard work you put in every day at all of our schools.

Last Chance to Vote — Ballots Due Tomorrow by 8 PM

As we approach the final day of voting, we want to share an answer to the most frequently asked question regarding the General Fund Levies:

One portion of the proposed funding is focused on supporting staff housing.

Under Montana law, General Fund Levies must be used specifically to help school employees access affordable housing. This could include options such as:
• Housing stipends
• Rental assistance
• Down payment support
• Relocation assistance
• District-supported housing opportunities

At this time, no final decisions have been made on how these funds would be used. We intentionally kept it broad—“in support of staff housing”—so we could first determine if the levy is approved by voters.

Why does this matter?
Livingston has been identified as a high cost-of-living area, and housing is one of the biggest barriers to attracting and retaining staff. Support like this could help new and early-career educators consider Livingston, even as housing costs continue to rise.

🗳️ Reminder: This election is conducted entirely by mail. IT IS TOO LATE TO MAIL THEM. DROP THEM OFF.
Ballots must be received by 8:00 PM tomorrow to be counted—postmarks do not count.

Ballots can be returned to:
Park County Clerk & Recorder’s Office
414 E. Callender Street

Thank you for taking the time to stay informed and participate in this important decision for our schools.
