Bridger Historical Society will have a work evening at the Jennings-Mahr cabin on Thursday eve the 25th of June, 6:00pm.
Park at the fishing access 2 miles south of Bridger on the Belfry highway. If dry, we will help move people to the clean-up site.
Bring gloves, and if anyone has a chainsaw, we may need a couple of those.

It was a beautiful day, hiking and searching for the petroglyphs! Wonderful to have Kim, Ken, Michael, Mark and Deb join us for the first time! It's always a wonderful experience, and the 70 degree weather sure helped us out!

Bridger Historical Society is having a hike down Petroglyph canyon Monday, June 8th. We will meet at 8:30am at the Zier Gallery, 120 S. Main, Bridger, Montana. It is a medium difficulty hike - not bad, but some large rocks to climb over toward the end, and some climbs up hills to see the petroglyphs.

Anyone is welcome. Bring comfortable shoes, water, a hat, and dress for the weather. If you need energy boosts, bring snacks.

A 4x4 vehicle is preferred.

Another fieldtrip that must be postponed! It is raining on Pryor mountain today and the road will be extremely muddy. The trip to Sage Creek Dam and homesteads May 30th, must sadly be cancelled.

Since our fieldtrips are bringing rain, however, it may be best to schedule one every other weekend throughout the summer to keep the grass growing!

The Bridger Beautification Committee is selling raffle tickets for a beautiful quilt. They are responsible for the lovely flowers around our Stage Coach Station and around town! They are $10@ and the deadline of June 6 is quickly approaching!

The new date fieldtrip to the rock dam on Sage Creek is coming up on Saturday, ay 30th. Anyone is welcome to come along, but needs a 4x4 vehicle. Bring a lunch, drink and appropriate clothing for the weather.
Meet at 120 S. Main Street in Bridger, MT, 2:30pm. We will talk about the history of the irrigation of Sage Creek and see a couple of the early homesteads that used the water nearby.

Bridger Historical Society is selling raffle tickets for 1/2 angus beef, butchered to your liking later this summer. The tickets are $20@.
The winning ticket will be drawn during Jim Bridger Days, July 18th. There are a limited number of tickets, increasing your chance to win! Get one now from any member of the Bridger Historical Society, or at the Zier Gallery on Mainstreet.
