The situation continues to develop but current reports are that the active shooter is dead. Two firefighters have been confirmed killed, and another possible nine firefighters injured. There also reports of numerous law enforcement officers wounded as well in this event.
This is horrific, and our hearts go out to all those involved.

Idaho firefighters ambushed by sniper while responding to brush fire near Canfield Mountain, leaving two dead and one injured as authorities urge residents to avoid the area.

Just kidding, it's always a good thing when a call ends in nothing but a good laugh.

A big thank you to the Livingston Firefighters - Local 630 for their quick response to Livingston HealthCare today after a fire alarm was set off. The cause? Our HR Director’s ambitious popcorn-making skills. 🍿

No fire, no injuries—just one very smoky popcorn bag.

Thank you to our HR department for finding new and exciting ways to bring the whole team together... nothing says “team building” like an unexpected fire alarm!

A quick recap of the last month here at Livingston Fire rescue:

- Our trout derby this year was our biggest trout derby too date! With an attendance of 208 kids. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped sponsor this community event! See you next year!

- your LFR firefighters have been training on auto extrication, drafting, and learning the ropes of engine operations. We are ready for the busy summer ahead! Everyone stay safe! 😃
