An outstanding morning for the Youngsville Fire Dept. We cannot thank our members, our volunteers, and everyone involved in making our annual pancake breakfast a success. Thank you to our supporters who made this all possible. We would like to also thank our 50/50 winner whom donated the entire amount back to the department.

Pictures from the annual Jeffersonville St Patrick’s day parade and the recent structure fire in the North Branch fire district. On Friday Youngsville was requested mutual aid with an engine and man power to assist in operations. 40-11 responded with a full 6 person cab along with multiple members and officers in POVs totaling 12 members 7 of which were interior. All Youngsville apparatuses returned to service at approximately 11pm. Saturday we were back to it and released the Youngsville brush unit which is comprised of 40-62 UTV/40-51 Ford/40-52 Dodge to the parade for all to see. We would like to thank our members, neighboring departments and our community for all the recent support. Our sincerest condolences to the family who was affected by this structure fire.

Today at approximately 9:36am Youngsville was requested mutual aid with a tanker to the Liberty Fire district for a working structure fire.
We would like to thank and applaud the efforts of Liberty Firefighter Abisch and our 4002, Youngsville Assistant Chief Schroeder, whom were the first arriving as they helped extricate a mother and children from the roadside window of the residence.
Youngsville along with multiple other agencies assisted with a tanker and interior man power for approximately 2.5 hours until the fire was under control.
Great job to all involved!!

Tonight 01/27/26, we spent our drill night clearing snow away from the hydrant system. The snow coverage creates quite a challenge when trying to access the hydrants in an emergency situation. 16 fire hydrants were cleared in the Shandelee rd and SR 52 areas. We would like to thank a very generous Youngsville Fire district tax payer for the donation of the machinery used in tonight’s drill.

Today we welcomed in our new Mighty Struts. These new mighty struts require less man power to use and operate off of our already existing dewalt batteries which we utilize for portable lights and power tools. These new struts will eventually be placed on our 40-11 Rescue pumper, however we will be doing an additional drill to familiarize ourselves before placing them into service. We would like to thank the Youngsville Fire District, the commissioners and MES for the assistance and for hosting a drill with our members.
