Our resident fairy, Tulip, will be celebrating her 1st birthday with us on Wednesday March 25, 2026!

Tulip’s Birthday Bash!
Young, old, and everyone in between! Tulip insists you’re all invited. She’s turning… well, she won’t tell us her age, but trust us, she looks fabulous!

Swing by anytime all day to help us celebrate our glitter-loving fairy. Enjoy a free birthday cupcake (Tulip approved) and a tiny goody bag stuffed with whimsy.

Fairy Box Challenge!
Take home your very own fairy box to decorate for a chance to win a full fairy set! Boxes must be returned by Friday, April 17, and the winner will be announced by the end of April; assuming Tulip doesn’t get distracted by sparkles and forget.

“Decorate a fairy box?” you ask.
Yes. Absolutely.
Using whatever magical materials you have at home, create what you imagine Tulip’s house-- or even just one room-- looks like. Bedroom? Living room? Chaotic glitter closet? Go wild.

Important Fairy Logistics:
• Fairy boxes are limited.
• One per family (or two if your family is larger than four. Tulip believes in fairness).
• This celebration is for all ages. Grown-ups, you are not only allowed but encouraged to embrace your inner fairy.

Stop into the library’s program room during open hours and take home anything you’d like from these materials. Please bring your own bags or boxes, as the library won’t have any available.
