Families from across the district came together to cheer on the winners of their campus bike rodeos as they competed at the Annual JISD Bike Rodeo! Students were excited to show off their bike handling skills and sportsmanship. Trophies were awarded to the top six bikers in every grade and in the adaptive category.

A special thank you to the high school cheerleaders, dance teams, and student-athletes who volunteered their time to help make the event a success. We also want to recognize Judson ISD - Athletics Department for organizing such an outstanding event that brought our school communities together.

Congratulations to all of our participants for representing their campuses so well! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️👏

🎃🍂 Pumpkins, songs, and smiles made for a perfect fall evening! The Crestview Choir brought the Halloween spirit to the Universal City Pumpkin Patch, sharing their talents with the community while surrounded by pumpkins and plenty of happy faces.

Even better, visits to the UC Pumpkin Patch help support Judson ISD PTOs and organizations through a portion of the proceeds given back. Be sure to head out to the patch to celebrate the season and support our students! 🎶🧡

A special surprise for two special kids! 🥹 Senior Master Sgt Craig Stawicki visited Fine Arts Academy at Olympia to surprise his kids after being deployed overseas.

We are thankful for his military service and for allowing us to share this moment with our Judson ISD community. Welcome home! 🏡

Dear Judson ISD Families,

I hope you and your family enjoyed the Fall Break. The extra two days on either side of the weekend gave students, families, and staff a chance to rest and reset before we begin the long stretch leading into the holidays.

As we return from the short break, it's a great time to refocus on the importance of being at school each day. These next several weeks are critical for teaching and learning. When students are at school, they benefit from direct instruction, meaningful discussions, hands-on learning experiences, and connections with their teachers and classmates.

Good attendance is one of the strongest predictors of academic success. Each day a student misses means missed opportunities to learn. Together, we can help students make the most of each school day.

Thank you for choosing Judson ISD and for being an active partner in your child’s education.

Dr. Ann Dixon
