Correction:
City Council Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm and the CRA meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm.

There has been much concern about my voting to close the Internet Cafe businesses in the city of Live Oak. To clear the air gambling is illegal. It has been established that illegal gambling is happening in these establishments. As a sworn in elected official it is my duty to uphold the law. If these establishments would find a way to keep these establishments open without the illegal gambling I would not have an issue with them being kept open. I will fight to the end for the betterment of Live Oak but I must too uphold the law. Please come and voice your opinions and concerns. The city council meets the second and third Tuesdays of each month at 5:30 pm. Please sign up at the back of the room before 5:30 if you wish to speak.
