This week was a major win for Pinnacle Mountain State Park! The park is the central hub for a growing network of trail systems, including newly opened routes that expand access to Lake Maumelle and surrounding natural areas. The goal with the Maumelle Pinnacles Conservation Area Master Plan is connectivity, and with 13.5 miles of new trail now open, the system is becoming more connected and more dynamic than ever.

Thank you to Sarah Huckabee Sanders for joining us as we marked this important step forward. We’re also excited to welcome two new concessionaires to the park with Apple Seeds and Point Remove, both who are helping expand visitor experiences at the park!

An oil boom outside of El Dorado changed Arkansas history forever in 1921, but the story really started more than two million years ago. You can walk through it all at the Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources – the underground formation of oil, the towering machines that harvested it and a replica of the boomtown it created. Plan your visit and experience this piece of Arkansas history for yourself! https://www.arkansas.com/state-parks/explore/parks/arkansas-museum-of-natural-resources

Thank you to everyone who participated in this years historic Arkansas Graveler and all the riders who completed the 2026 Arkansas Graveler!

This year’s Delta Blues Edition took cyclists through the heart of the Delta and into three Arkansas State Parks, Village Creek, Mississippi River, and the Delta Heritage Trail. The Arkansas Graveler also became the first-ever event to take place on the nearly completed Delta Heritage Trail, making this year especially memorable.

Thanks for being part of this incredible journey. Want in on the adventure next year? Start planning for the 2027 Arkansas Graveler: https://arkansasgraveler.com/ -word
