As Mental Health Month comes to a close, the Fire Department wants our community to know that mental wellness isn’t a once‑a‑year conversation. It’s a priority we focus on every single day. Our firefighters face intense physical and emotional challenges, and taking care of the mind is just as important as taking care of the body. Practices like yoga help our crews build resilience, reduce stress, and stay grounded on and off the job. Mental health matters. Today, tomorrow, and all year long.
