School may be out – but school meals are still in! Children in the PCSSD community won't go hungry this summer and will have the opportunity to eat for free, thanks to PCSSD and its foodservice partner, Chartwells K12. This summer, we will be preparing meal packs for breakfast & lunch for anyone 18 years or younger in the community. The PCCSD summer meal program does not require registration or identification, and children do not have to attend PCSSD schools to receive the meals. Just show up at the pickup sites on distribution days from 7:00-10:00 a.m., and the meals will be loaded into your vehicle. For more details, see the attached image.

ATLAS Summative LEVEL UP - Part 2

160 scholars who LEVELED UP and met their target growth 2 or more of the tested areas (ELA, Math, Science) and/or maintained their Level 4 status were treated to a day at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, AR. A wonderful time and occasion. Our Comets worked hard and did their best and we celebrate you!

Late last month we had a wonderful and inspiring Parent Meeting at Mills Middle. Our instructional coaches shared our school ATLAS Summative Data and parents were able to look up their child's data tracking their progress from ATLAS Interim I, II and finally the Summative. Everyone attending also received books for their summer reading and practice. There will be no summer slide at Comet Nation!

Thank you parents and guardians for your support in meeting the personalized academic and social needs of all of our scholars and preparing them for success.
