25 years since a day that changed our nation forever.

We remember the lives we lost, we remember the fear that every American felt, but we also remember the community, the togetherness, and unity in our nation in the aftermath of that day. We remember the bravery, courage, and sacrifice of our emergency medical teams, our firefighters, and our police officers.

Today, we remember that America is resilient and strong. In our 250 years, we have never faced a challenge we couldn’t surmount, together.

A few Labor Day reminders for ya 👀

Arkansas workers raised the minimum wage themselves, TWICE. The GOP Supermajority in our legislature’s answer was a dozen bills to make sure you can’t do it again…

For Democrats, it’s right in our platform: We believe in building the economy from the ground up, not the top down. That means no more tax breaks and loopholes for corporations and the wealthy. Because even at companies headquartered right here in the Natural State, the CEO has already earned what the median worker makes all year in ONE DAY.

Arkansas Democrats will keep fighting until every Arkansas worker has the right to join a union. And we will never stop pushing for an Arkansas where everyone who works 40-hours a week can pay for groceries, housing, healthcare and have money left over.

Workers, we owe it all to you. Thank you!

Demand accountability. Demand justice. Demand ANSWERS.

On August 1, a state trooper threw an 18-year-old woman to the ground and punched her in the face. ASP’s internal investigation cited him for cursing too much and for not identifying himself. It said nothing about the violence.

On August 19, a different trooper broke a car window and pulled a passenger out through it by his hair. That description comes from the trooper’s own report. There has been no finding on the force used in either stop.

Arkansans deserve answers. Sign the petition asking the Arkansas State Police to review and revise its use-of-force policy, and asking Col. Mike Hagar to answer the Legislative Black Caucus’s questions: arkansasdems.org/aspconduct
