The Clerk's Office reserves the right to delete any comments or posts that are found to be in violation of the County’s Policy. Individuals who repeatedly violate the County’s Policy may be banned or prohibited from posting future comments to Clerk's Office social media sites. The list is not intended to be all-inclusive. Examples are:
• Content that contains profane or obscene language;
• Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetrates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, natural origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity;
• Content that incites, encourages, or solicits violent or illegal acts;
• Content that violates any federal, state, or local law;
• Commercial solicitations or spam;
• Infringement on copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property; or,
• Confidential or non-public information. Following or friending persons, a business, or an organization is not an endorsement by the Clerk's Office. Instead, it is only intended as a means of communication. A comment posted by a member of the public on any Clerk's Office social media site is the opinion of the commentator or poster only, and publication of a comment does not imply endorsement of, or agreement by, the Clerk's Office or its separate offices, nor do such comments necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of the Clerk's Office or its separate offices.
