Good news—the burn ban has officially been lifted! Residents may resume outdoor burning, but please continue to burn responsibly, follow local regulations, and stay aware of conditions.

Due to dry conditions and increased fire danger, ALL outdoor burning and fireworks are prohibited until further notice.

One of our OEM personnel rescued a dog through the ice today. Shannon Ellington. Utilized his OEM issued dry suit, life vest, and rope. Dog (Chewy) was turned over to the owner and will be fine. This was in East End, close to his house. East End Fire also on scene to assist.
