It’s time to get back in the game! Pulaski County Youth Services is bringing back our FREE ACT Prep Courses for the 2026–2027 school year.

Whether you’re taking the ACT for the first time or working to improve your score, these monthly sessions are designed to help students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and feel more prepared for test day.

Celebrating Leadership, Service & Impact!

Pulaski County Youth Services is proud to congratulate one of our valued PCYS Board Members Reginald Lambert, on being named a 2026 Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission Dream Keepers Award recipient!

This distinguished recognition honors individuals who continue to carry forward Dr. King’s legacy through leadership, service, and a commitment to strengthening communities. As part of this special occasion, he was also honored with a Capitol Citation from Arkansas Secretary of State Cole Jester.

The celebration was made even more memorable by the opportunity to meet Isaac Farris, nephew of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and to reflect on the enduring responsibility we all share to keep Dr. King’s dream alive through service and action.

We are grateful for the leadership, dedication, and heart for community that our Board Member brings to Pulaski County Youth Services. His commitment to serving others and investing in the next generation reflects the very spirit of this honor.

Pulaski County Youth Services is excited to offer FREE ACT Prep Courses throughout the school year! These monthly sessions are designed to help high school students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and improve their ACT performance over time.

Our first ACT Prep Course will be held on:

Starting the School Year Off Right!

At Pulaski County Youth Services, preparing young people for success means making sure they have the resources, support, and opportunities they need to begin the school year with confidence!

This year, we were proud to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to all of our Little Scholars summer program participants, NexGen students, helping ensure they returned to the classroom prepared and ready to learn.

We are also incredibly grateful for the community partnerships that helped us extend our reach this back-to-school season. PCYS was proud to partner with the Pi Omicron Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Center for Healing Hearts, and New Hope Baptist Church in efforts to support students and families throughout Pulaski County.

Our team also participated in the Back to School Drive at Southwest High School, where we had an opportunity to connect with students and families, share resources, and promote the exciting programs and opportunities PCYS will offer throughout the upcoming academic school year.

Strong communities are built through strong partnerships, and we are thankful for every organization, community partner, staff member, and volunteer who continues to invest in our young people.

We’re excited about the year ahead and look forward to continuing to create opportunities for our youth to learn, grow, lead, and succeed!
