Arkansas APCO/NENA is now accepting presentation proposals for our 2026 State Conference in Hot Springs. We’re looking for instructors who bring skill, passion, and lived experience to the classroom — because no one teaches like a dispatcher who’s been there.

The conference committee is seeking quality presentations on topics relevant to public safety communications, including:

• 911 call taking
• Police, fire, and medical dispatching
• Stress & resilience
• First‑level leadership
• Telecommunications training
• Technical & operational development
• Radio systems & PSAP design
• Emerging technology


We also welcome unique or outside‑the‑box submissions that would be relevant and educational for attendees. If submitting more than one presentation, please submit each individually.

📌 What to include:

• Presenter biography
• Course title
• Brief course description (printed in the program/app) • Any AV needs • Any handouts you plan to provide


All submissions will be reviewed by the conference committee.

🎟️ If selected, your conference registration fee will be waived.
Travel, hotel, meals, and other expenses remain the responsibility of the presenter.

To every dispatcher mom, step‑mom, foster mom, grandmother, mother‑figure, and to the moms who raised the voices behind the mic—your strength echoes through every call, every shift, every life you touch.
