The MyARInternship program is officially underway!

Our first week kicked off with an energizing Day One. Interns connected during orientation, heard inspiring stories from former interns who are now proud State of Arkansas employees, and received a motivating welcome from Jennifer Siccardi of the Governor’s Office.

We were also joined by Jennifer Owens-Buie with the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, who shared meaningful volunteer opportunities for our interns to make an impact this summer.

To round out an incredible first day, interns toured the Arkansas Supreme Court and had the honor of hearing from Chief Justice Karen Baker — a memorable moment to start their journey in public service!

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

In observance of Memorial Day, state offices will be closed on Monday, May 25. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26.

The Arkansas Department of Shared Administrative Services wishes everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
