The Division of Arkansas Heritage is a part of the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism. The Division of Arkansas Heritage was created in 1975 to preserve and promote Arkansas’s heritage as a source of pride and enjoyment for all. DAH's four museums and four heritage resource agencies provide Arkansas information resources and unique contributions to the preservation and promotion of

Arkansas heritage. The Division of Arkansas Heritage is a part of the Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism. We encourage you to interact, discuss, reminisce and share your memories of our state and its heritage on this page. We ask that you keep your comments and posts relevant, positive and respectful. The legislation passed and the Arkansas History Commission, designed to serve as the official archives of Arkansas, became not only the third state archives in the nation, it also became one of our first state agencies.”
