UPDATE..THE SPLASH PAD IS WORKING!!! It will be open on Friday the 5th. Bob is running water/chlorine through it to clean the system, so while tempting, please keep your kids off the splash pad until Friday. Thank you!

City Hall will be closed tomorrow, May 15th so the clerk can attend a school event with her kids. If you need to make a payment, the Dropbox outside City Hall is available or there is a link to pay online at littleriverks.com. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!

The limb dump has a lock on it again. Keys will have to be checked out at city hall and a security deposit of $25 will be in effect until we find the person responsible for dumping Sheetrock and 2x4’s in our limb dump. Sorry for those of you that use our facility responsibly. We know this is a huge inconvenience to you, but we face getting closed down by the state if this continues to happen.

NOTICE...
We will NO longer be delivering 24 hour disconnect notices prior to shutting off gas/water utilities. This has been a courtesy that the city has provided for quite some time. The normal delinquent notices will still be mailed around the 25th of the month, giving residents time to make their payment or payment arrangements prior to being shut-off. This action is being taken due to the high volume of notices being delivered each month.

City Hall is currently under renovation. We are trying to stay open to the public as much as possible to our customers. Please avoid the main office area, the city clerk is working in the police office for the time being. We have several payment options available to our customers. The drop box is still being checked daily, as well as online payments. If you would like to pay online, there is a link on the chamber website for city utility bill payments, or you can call the office at 620-897-6260.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, we are hoping to be back up and running as normal as possible by next week.

Just a friendly reminder, the annual Vet Clinic is this evening at the LR Fire Department from 6-9PM with Becky Dillon, DVM. Pets must be tagged by the city before March 1st, cost is $6.00/tag for intact pets and free for pets that have been spayed/neutered. Each household is limited to 2dogs and 2 cats per City Ordinance No. 625. Hope to see you all there this evening!
