There's more to a vision board than markers, magazine cuttings, and poster paper. They give kids room to dream again and picture a future that feels possible. For children healing from trauma, imagining forward is part of the healing.

Every vision board is a reminder: our youth residents are so much more than what they've been through. They have goals. They have dreams. And they deserve every chance to chase them.

Since our Gentry location opened in 2020, we've responded to the center with rotating staff. This year we welcomed Kassie who has been able to provide a consistent, welcoming presence from the moment someone walks through our doors.

Healing depends on stability: someone who keeps showing up, a space that feels familiar, care that doesn't stop after one visit.

That's the idea behind on-site counseling at the CFAC. Rather than one visit and a referral elsewhere, a family gets ongoing support in a place they already know. Healing isn't linear, but with consistent support, families can build resilience.
