Are you ready for the Morrison County 4-H Blue Ribbon Auction, Saturday, June 27 at 3pm? 50 4-H members that have been working hard to get their market animals ready for the county fair will be auctioning their ribbons to the highest bidders. It's a great way to support the 4-H members along with the 4-H program, 20% of the proceeds go to fund countywide education, registration, events and more! 4-H also offers as the first lot, a t-shirt with your business logo on it, about 300 shirts will be printed for the 2027 4-H members and auction participants. Special thanks to Raymond for putting on our Poultry project night, "Getting Your Poultry Ready for the Fair." Let’s Talk About Loneliness in Older Adults 📱

Because everyone needs someone to talk to.

Loneliness affects people of all ages, but it is especially common among older adults. More than one‑third of older adults report feeling lonely, and many experience it quietly without telling anyone.

You can make a difference by choosing to reach out and connect. Sometimes the simplest action matters most. Answer the phone when someone calls, return a message, or take a moment to check in. These small gestures can remind someone that they are seen, valued, and not alone.

Beyond Ready to Serve youth leaders from five Minnesota counties, ranging from eighth grade and up. As they explored the needs in their communities, they discovered a shared passion for mental health, bullying prevention, and supporting older adults. 4-H High School Graduate Highlight....Isabel has been a member of Morrison County 4-H and the Scandia Firebirds club for the past 13 years. Isabel is graduating from Staples Motley High school and Central Lakes College with an AA degree. She has plans to attend Central Lakes College this fall for Nursing. The final Cloverbud Adventures session for the year was on Performing Arts-Music. We had a special guest, Mackenzie, she played her violin for us and talked about her 4-H performing arts projects. We also made a variety of musical instruments and tried a little harmony together. Cloverbud Adventures will start back up in the winter.
