This event is a great opportunity to break down barriers and connect. There are no agendas or speeches—just a casual space to ask questions, voice your neighborhood concerns, or simply get to know the officers serving your community.

As a new school year begins, let’s work together to keep our students safe! Please slow down in school zones, follow drop-off and parking procedures, stay alert, and remember to watch carefully for school buses.

🚌 Flashing red lights & stop-arm = STOP. On two-lane or undivided multi-lane roads, traffic in both directions must stop 25 feet away.

Let’s make safety a priority from the first day to the last. Wishing all of our students, teachers, staff, and families a safe, successful, and great school year! 💚💛

🚨 COMMUNITY ALERT: Protecting Our Youth 🚨

The Little Falls Police Department, in partnership with Passaic County Sheriff's Department, Passaic County Prosecutors Office and Woodland Park Police Department, recently assisted in a narcotics investigation into illegal THC products marketed toward juveniles. The operation resulted in the seizure of $80,000 in dangerous substances, many disguised in colorful packaging attractive to children.

We urge parents to talk to their children about the dangers of va**ng and THC. Please know that we take every juvenile-related quality-of-life complaint seriously and will investigate to the fullest to ensure our community stays safe.

Main Street is currently closed in the area of Dewey Avenue due to downed power lines from the storm. Please adhere to the posted detours and use caution while navigating the area locally.

Emergency services are on scene and updates will be provided.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another incredible National Night Out! We are grateful to our residents, community partners, sponsors, volunteers, and fellow public safety agencies who helped make the evening such a success.

It was a great opportunity to strengthen the relationships that make Little Falls such a special community. We hope everyone enjoyed the food, demonstrations, activities, and time spent with friends and neighbors.

Notice from the Little Falls Office of Emergency Management:

Due to the continued rate of rainfall, the Peckman River has rose to a level creating concern of possible flooding. Should you live in this flood plain take necessary precautions or leave the area.

Local roadways are also experiencing flash flooding, use caution if traveling and do not drive through standing water.

On July 21, 2026 between the hours of 7am and 5pm, Main Street between Center Avenue and Union Avenue will be down to one lane with alternating traffic. Please plan ahead and avoid the area if possible. Thank you!
