On Friday, June 5, members of the Little Falls Police Department proudly participated in the annual 2026 New Jersey Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The Torch Run is a meaningful tradition that brings law enforcement agencies together to raise awareness, show support, and celebrate the incredible athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey. We were honored to take part in this important event and stand alongside our law enforcement partners, community members, and Special Olympics athletes.

It’s all fun and games until someone gets dunked! 🎡💦

Our officers had a blast hanging out with the students at the School 3 Carnival today, but we quickly learned that the students have impeccable aim. We are starting to think we were invited just for Officer Sayad to be dunked!

Safety First! 🚲🛴 E-Bike, Scooter, and Pedestrian Safety Presentation

A huge thank you to Corporal Pinnola (Little Falls PD), Captain Aguilera (Woodland Park PD), and Patrolman Parlegreco (Totowa PD) for visiting Passaic Valley Regional High School today!

They provided an essential breakdown of the new New Jersey e-bike and scooter laws, which are crucial for keeping our students and pedestrians safe. With new regulations including changes to insurance, registration requirements, and age restrictions, it’s more important than ever to stay informed.

Let’s keep our community roads and trails safe by riding responsibly and respecting the new guidelines. If you have questions about the presentation or the new laws, reach out to your local police department or visit the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission website.

Healthy relationships start with awareness. 💜

The Little Falls Police Department is proud to stand with the Little Falls Domestic Violence Awareness Committee and the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office today.

We are at Passaic Valley Regional High School speaking with the Junior and Senior classes about an incredibly important topic: Teen Dating Violence.

Understanding the signs of a healthy relationship and recognizing the red flags of an unhealthy one is a vital skill for our students. We are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for our youth.

Let’s keep the conversation going. Talk to your teens, set healthy boundaries, and remember: you are never alone.
