To wrap up this campaign, I am sending out my most sincere thanks to all my family, friends, and supporters. There were many of you. A special thanks goes to Cathy Michaud and all the folks at Ramsey Printing for help on the wonderful mailers, Brian Jones at Viking Signs for the one-of-a-kind signs, and Cliff Schaefer for the campaign photo. Not a great subject but a terrific photo. Also, there were many great people whom I met over this campaign. Too many to mention them all, but I am fortunate to have met Barry Peterson. Without your support, I would not have done as well as I did. So, again, to all of you and from the bottom of my heart, Thank you.
The other day, I reached out to Darlene Kotelnicki to congratulate her on her win and thank her for a good, clean, and above-board contest. We had a good conversation and I wish her well over the next four years.
Finally, this contest was close. Under different circumstances, who knows. Going forward, I will not stop looking out for the best interest of our city. I will continue to attend Council meetings, continue my tenure on the Heritage Preservation Commission and The Chamber serving Meeker County, and continue to be a voice to be heard. I am not finished. We are not finished. Who knows what the future will bring for Litchfield in two or four years.
