Litchfield School District Early Childhood Programs/ECFE & Preschool Litchfield ECFE & Litchfield Preschool Litchfield Early Childhood Programs offer four distinct programs for young children and their parents.

The Litchfield School District Preschool is an exceptional learning experience for children ages 3-5. Taught by Early Childhood Licensed teachers, this preschool experience is designed to prepare your child to transition to Kindergarten successfully as it is a part of the Litchfield Public School System. We offer two, three, four and more day classes per week, both am and pm. Scholarships are avai

lable for those in need. Litchfield's Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is for all parents with children from birth to age 5. Various classes are provided throughout the school year to encourage and support parents as they love, teach and enjoy their children. Early Childhood Screening is offered by the school district to children starting at age 3.5years. This provides parents with the understanding of their child's readiness for learning. If parents have concerns about the development of their child, this is a chance to address those concerns. Needing to be completed before the kindergarten year, screening at age 3.5 years gives families and professionals the time to offer the support children need to help them be ready for kindergarten. If your child is at least 3.5 years old and hasn't had their EC screening, call today to secure an appointment, 320-693-2354.
