Litchfield Elementary School District Believe, Belong, Become Litchfield Elementary School District is located in the Southwest Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area.

With 17 schools encompassing 65 square miles in four cities (Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear and Litchfield Park), we offer in-person and online learning opportunities, a school nurse on every campus, and an exceptional framework for social emotional learning. Congratulations to Camila Antunez of Verrado Middle School on an incredible performance at the NASP Archery Arizona State Championship!
Camila earned 1st place in the state for middle school and an outstanding 3rd place overall among elementary, middle, and high school competitors — an amazing achievement at any level!
To top it off, she scored a perfect 50 on one end, showcasing her precision, focus, and dedication to the sport.

Today, we were proud to bring together the power of partnership at the LESD79 & School Connect Café
Community members, business partners, and school leaders gathered in one space with a shared purpose: supporting student success. Through meaningful conversation and collaboration, new ideas were sparked, connections were strengthened, and opportunities to better serve our students began to take shape.

At the 17th Annual Celebration of Accomplished Teaching through the AZ K12 Center, we proudly honor our teachers who earned and maintained their National Board Certification. Their hard work, perseverance, and dedication to students represent the very best of accomplished teaching.

Congratulations to Abby Field, Wendy Maldonado, Jamie Schnepp, Norma Coria, and Julie Larson for this exceptional achievement.

We also celebrate Litchfield for sharing the Distinguished District recognition with Chandler Unified and Scottsdale Unified, passing on the title in a spirit of collaboration, leadership, and continued excellence.
