After wallowing in melancholia yesterday I am going out today to see if there are still signs to pick up. If you have taken down your sign and would like to return it to me let me know.

Thank you to the 3,305 people who voted for me. Thank you even more to the many friends who helped me in this campaign. Unfortunately it wasn't enough and we fell 224 votes short.

I look forward to continuing my service on the District 203 Citizen Finance Advisory Committee and maybe serving on the Executive Board of the Kennedy Home and School. I also plan to spend a lot of time watching my two boys play baseball over the next few months.

Thank you again for all your kind words and support. Maybe it was just not meant to be the place for me, but I truly treasure the encouragement and well wishes I have received over these last few months.

Just got home from voting. I was the 92nd person to voter by paper ballot. Still plenty of time to go vote.

Tomorrow night I'll be at Mullen's starting at 8 with the Lisle Township Candidates. Drop on by and have a good time watching the returns come in.

Election Day is tomorrow. This will be a close race that is won by people talking to their friends and neighbors. If you could share your support it will make a difference.

I have served on the Steeple Run H&S Executive Board and currently serve on the District 203 Citizen Finance Advisory Committee. In these uncertain financial times I have the background and experience to help guide the District so it continues to provide world class education and does it in a fiscally responsible manner. I will be open to the concerns of the citizens.

I've put out all my signs. But I need many to put up at polling places so don't be alarmed if your sign disappears on Monday afternoon. It'll just be me collecting signs to put at polling places.
