Surrounded by natural beauty, diverse recreation opportunities and outstanding transportation access, the Village of Lisle is located just 26 miles west of Chicago, in the heart of DuPage County where urban amenities are met with small town charm. Reminder: Illinois American Water Proposing $142 Million Rate Hike: Public Forum Scheduled Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

The Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) has organized another public forum regarding Illinois American Water’s (IAW) proposed $142 million rate increase. IAW customers are encouraged to attend the forum and share their feedback. Forum details are provided below.

Representatives from the ICC will be present to accept public comments, which may be submitted either verbally or in writing. Comments will be accepted through ICC’s webpage for the proposed rate increase (Docket 26-0127) or by calling the ICC’s Consumer Services Division at (800) 524-0795, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Village of Lisle provides contracted mosquito management services to reduce the potential risk of mosquito-borne illnesses and control nuisances caused by mosquitoes.

The Village's contractor, Clarke Environmental, is providing an additional application for adult mosquitoes in Lisle Friday night, September 4, 2026, after dusk, weather permitting.

Sign up for spray notifications or report mosquitoes and standing water at www.clarkeportal.com/hotline or call the customer hotline at (800) 942-2555.

🍂 Fall Branch Collection begins Monday, September 14!

The Village's Public Works Department provides free branch collection for single-family homes each fall. Collection will take place on a rotating schedule during the weeks of September 14, September 21, and September 28.

📅 Check the schedule in the graphic to find your collection week. Please place branches at the parkway before 7 a.m. on Monday of your scheduled collection week.

🌳 Important: Collection areas rotate each year, so your collection week may be different from last year.

Labor Day Office Closure 🇺🇸

🏛️ Village offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8.

🗑️ Refuse, recycling, and yard waste collection will be delayed by one day due to the holiday with collection taking place on Thursday, September 10.
