Attention Lisle Township Residents!
Teen Parent Connection to hold child car seat class

Qualified participants who attend a Teen Parent Connection free car seat class could get a free child car seat. The Glen Ellyn nonprofit will hold the first online class from 7 pm - 8 pm on Wednesday, Aug. 20, with an in-person installation on Saturday, Aug. 23. The installations will be offered in 30-minute appointments from 9 am - 2 pm. A second virtual class will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 17, followed by an in-person installation event on Saturday, Sept. 20.

To qualify for a free seat, participants must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident of DuPage County, who meets the financial guidelines, provide required documents, and RSVP and attend the entire class and the installation. For all qualifications and details, download the attached brochure in English and Spanish.

Lisle Township Community Mental Health 708 Board will conduct a virtual workshop for the 2025-26 grant cycle on Thursday February 27, 2025. 2pm – 3:30pm

This workshop will provide a high-level overview of the Lisle Township Community Mental Health 708 Board grant competition and guidance on the necessary components to consider during the proposal development phase. Participants will receive information regarding application guidelines and include initial conversations about crafting competitive proposal narratives, budgets and budget justifications, along with general remarks about the overall submission process.

Please lee below for information on the DuPage Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) community survey, available in English and Spanish. Please share with appropriate networks.

Hello all!

DuPage ROSC is conducting a community survey in collaboration with IDHS/SUPR. The survey questions align with five priority goals of ROSCs in the state of Illinois:

Stigma Reduction
Promoting Medication Assisted Recovery (MAR)
Promoting Harm Reduction
Ensuring Effective Service Delivery
Prioritizing Equity

The information collected will be reported back to IDHS/SUPR, and will be used to help direct our efforts in the coming year. The survey only takes around 5-10 minutes to complete, but the data collected is crucial for us. Please feel free to share with your networks, clients, friends, family, and loved ones. The more people we can get to complete this survey, the better!
