This month, SIDS of Illinois, Inc., Executive Director, Nancy Maruyama had the opportunity to visit Oslo, Norway, for the International Meeting on Sudden Infant Death. She had many meaningful conversations with familiar faces and learned a lot more while discussing the mission and research surrounding SIDS, SUID, and safe sleep. Nancy even had time to visit Vigeland Sculpture Park and Troll Village, which were some of the highlights from her trip!

The best baby shower gifts are the ones that help keep baby safe. Consider gifting a safe sleep item from your loved one’s registry like a crib, bassinet, or wearable blanket to help create a safer sleep space from day one💙

-Weighted sleep products

-ANY soft bedding/loose items

When families are forced to start over due to fires, domestic violence, or financial hardship, even the smallest necessities can make a big difference. Your donation can help parents care for their babies during difficult and uncertain times while reminding them they are not alone.
