Please make plans to pick up your sale checks during one of these two pickup times:

📅 SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11 | 10 AM–2 PM

📅 WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14 | 4–6 PM

📍 WHERE: Senior Fair Office (by the Beef Complex)

✍️ IMPORTANT: All checks must be signed for. Parents/guardians may pick up a member’s check.

We’d love to see Columbiana County 4-H families and volunteers at the 2027 Ohio 4-H Conference! 🎉

📅 Saturday, March 13, 2027
📍 Ohio Union – The Ohio State University, Columbus

The Ohio 4-H Conference is a great opportunity for 4-H members, parents, and volunteers to spend the day learning, connecting with other 4-H’ers from across Ohio, and discovering new ideas to bring back to our clubs and communities.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents are welcome to attend with their 4-H members, and we encourage our volunteers and adult leaders to join us, too!

⭐ We’ll also be celebrating some of our own! ⭐

Seven Columbiana County 4-H volunteers will be recognized at the conference for their years of service to the 4-H program:

come learn what the judge in the ring is looking for on show day!

• Part of the cow
• PDCA Dairy Cow Unified Scorecard
• How to speak about the class

• On-farm practices
• Classroom-style instruction
• Contests (State and County)

🎄🏠 Calling All Columbiana County 4-H Clubs & Families! 🏠🎄

Looking for a fun way to give back this holiday season? Join the Gingerbread House for a Cause 4-H Club Challenge!

Every Columbiana County 4-H Club is invited to create and enter up to two gingerbread houses while helping support local families in need through a community food drive.

✨ How it Works: ✅ Create a gingerbread house with your club
✅ Drop it off on December 11 at Wellsville First Christian Church Fellowhip Hall (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
✅ Invite family and friends to vote on December 12

🥫 Vote with Donations! On December 12, community members can vote for their favorite gingerbread house by bringing non-perishable food items.

1 canned good = 1 vote There is no limit to the number of donations you can bring! All items collected will be donated to a local food pantry.

🎅 December 12 Activities 🍪 Cookies & milk with Santa: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
🏠 Gingerbread House Voting: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

🌟 New for 2026! 4-H Clubs can also participate by decorating community food collection boxes that will be displayed throughout the county from mid-November through December 12.

📦 Collection Box Dates: • Pick Up: October 5-8 (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at the OSU Extension Office
• Return Decorated Boxes: November 9-10 (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at the OSU Extension Office
