September Business of the Month: The Village of Lisbon

The Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce is incredibly proud to present our September Business of the Month plaque to the Village of Lisbon.

While towns are often built on bricks and mortar, a community is truly defined by its heart. The Village of Lisbon consistently goes above and beyond to foster an environment where local businesses can thrive, historical charm is beautifully preserved, and neighbors genuinely look out for one another.
From our bustling downtown events to the daily dedication of our village workers, Lisbon exemplifies the very best of small-town spirit and collaborative progress.

Thank you to the Village leadership, staff, and community members for your tireless dedication to making Lisbon a wonderful place to live, work, and grow.

Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

🍎A Special Shoutout to a true living legend: Jerry Tyson 🍎

Every year, the Johnny Appleseed Festival brings our community together in a beautiful way, but it simply wouldn’t be the same without the incredible dedication of one very special person.

We want to extend our deepest, warmest gratitude to Jerry Tyson for everything he pours into being our Johnny Appleseed.

Most people see Jerry during our big festival weekend, wearing the iconic pan hat and spreading joy. What many don’t realize is that Jerry’s commitment doesn't stop when the festival ends. All year round, he works tirelessly, dedicates his own time, and brings the spirit of Johnny Appleseed to life for our community, schools, and local events.

His kindness, enthusiasm, and passion keep this beautiful tradition alive for generations to come.

Jerry, thank you for your hard work, your endless energy, and the magic you bring to Lisbon year after year. We are incredibly blessed to have you! ❤️🍏
