Columbiana County Park District

Columbiana County Park District The Columbiana County Park District was created in 1974. The trail is scenic and approximately 14.8 miles.

The Mission of the Columbiana County Park District Board is to provide and protect safe areas which conserve and restore natural areas and offer healthful and enjoyable outdoor experiences to the citizens of our county. The five-member board is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the The Little Beaver Creek Greenway Trail, Scenic Vista Park, and Hellbender Bluff Park. The Little Beaver Creek Greenway Trail is the most southern leg of the Great Lake to River Trail that begins in Ashtabula County and when completed will run from Lake Erie to the Ohio River. Scenic Vista Bluff located at 11523 Wayne Bridge Road is 250 acres, and is a mix of grasslands and woodlands. An eighteen (18) hole disc golf course is available along with pavilions and trails. A replica of the Sell Covered Bridge a wooden cabin, and picnic area are located in the park. Hellbender Bluff is located southeast of Lisbon and named after the endangered Hellbender Salamander. This park contains 752 acres, hiking trails, pavilion, and BMX Pump Track. The Park District's development takes into account the delicate balance between nature and people.

Happy October, better known as the first day of Spooky Season!! We aren't pulling a TRICK when we say we have a TREAT this month! We have a SPOOKTACULAR Storytrail set up OUTSIDE the LIBRARY! You can follow our signs to the back exit of our building, and the storytrail will take you back to the front parking lot! As you walk, you can collect leaves to bring to the Columbiana County Park District office, for their display! Be sure to check out Lepper Library's story at the Greenway Trail this month, too! Go and enjoy this BOO-tiful weather and read our fun story!

The annual Greenway Trail Day is the perfect opportunity to get outside, touch some grass and have a blast - all while helping support the trail! 👏🏼

Put on your fastest sneakers (obviously the ones that light up), or grab your bicycles and hit the trail on July 11th. 🚲👟🌳
