Join Abilities Unite for a friendship visit with the Journey of Hope Team on Saturday, August 1st at Fairhaven School from 2 - 4 pm. Activities include an ice cream sundae party, accessible games, and karaoke.

Each year, The Journey of Hope team embarks on a cross-country bicycle trip to test their limits, spread awareness, and celebrate the abilities of all people. The team spends the summer crossing the country over a combined 12,000 miles and stops in Niles, OH to spend an afternoon with friends at our Annual Friendship Visit.

Journey of Hope is a unique program that helps to spread a message of awareness and inclusion everywhere they go.

Robert Bycroft received an $800 grant from the Ohio Elks Association Cerebral Palsy Board. Ben Blevins of Salem Elks Lodge #305 presented the check. This grant will be used for purchasing a wooden therapy stairway with rails. The stairway will be utilized to teach stair negotiation and safety along with lower extremity strengthening.
