Good Afternoon- A new flushing schedule update. They will be flushing in the four phases below over the next 2 weeks.

First phase - Hewey, David, Brookwood, Main, Sparsam
Second phase - Main, Sparsam, Summer, Forbes
Third phase - Addison, Berry, Vining, South
Fourth Phase - Royal, Pleasant, Bauer

Their goal is to try to complete each phase in one scheduled day if permitted.

If you experience dirty water or low pressure please contact us at 207-353-3020 to have a water operator come to investigate and help mitigate the issue.

We appreciate your patience while we improve the water quality with our annual flushing process.

We will be flushing downtown Main Street on Thursday, October 2nd starting at 9:00pm. If you experience low pressure or dirty water, please call 353-2500 to report it. This is the non-emergency number for the police department; they will get in touch with water operator on duty.

We have resumed flushing today on Pleasant Street then are moving on to Plummer, School, Enterprise, Pohle, Free, Main, Earle Streets ending on Friday.

Flushing will resume tomorrow, 8/20 on Summer St and over the next 2 weeks will flush the areas of Edgecomb, Libby, Russell, Route 196 to Avery, Birch, Clarks, Goddard, Pine, Maple, Autumn, Oak and Canal.

Beginning tomorrow, our crews will resume routine water main flushing in the following sequence. This work helps maintain water quality but may cause temporary pressure fluctuations or discolored water. Thank you for your patience.

Flushing on Rte 196 has been completed through Crest Ave. Flushing will resume tomorrow from Crest Ave down Rte 196 to just past Bisbee Street.
