Lipan VFD would like to extend a huge thank you to Chief Hutsell from Tolar VFD for teaching the extrication training last night.

2/23/26: We will be having extrication training this evening by the tabernacle. We want the community to be aware so there is no concern when you see the firetrucks and vehicles being operated on.

Reminder that Erath County and Palo Pinto County are in burn bans. It’s extremely dry right now so be very cautious and notify the fire marshal’s office before doing any controlled burning in the counties where is currently permitted.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Kickapoo Festival 2025. We are so grateful to all who supported us through donations, sponsorships, and attendance. A huge shoutout to the Lipan ISD BBQ teams for cooking the pork for lunch. It was delicious as always! We are also very grateful to the Retro Rockhopper Car Club for hosting this year’s car show!
