Most of you are likely aware of the incident involving an Owen County Sheriff’s Deputy who was injured yesterday. As of now, no additional information has been released. I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation to our FOP brothers and sisters from Indianapolis FOP Lodge 86, who selflessly responded to the hospital to provide comfort and support to the deputy and their family in their time of need. Thank you from Linton Lodge 105. Please join us in praying for the deputy's full recovery and for justice to be served.

Reminder! Our Pancake Breakfast is tomorrow from 7-11 am at the Linton Fire Dept. Please gather all your friends and family and come on out. Proceeds to benefit our Shop with a Cop Back to School event we do in the fall to purchase back to school clothing and supplies for our area youth. Hope to see everyone in the morning!

It is with great sadness that we inform you all of the passing of Marilyn Dallaire, loving wife of Greene County Sheriff George Dallaire. Marilyn served our great county along side her husband as the Jail Matron and assisted Sheriff Dallaire with his duties to the residents of Greene County. This is a deeply difficult time for Greene County Law Enforcement and our community. We are all, at a great loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sheriff Dallaire and his family.
