Position Opening: Osage County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is hiring a District Specialist to assist with providing technical and financial assistance to agricultural producers. This position is primarily responsible for performing management and administrative duties: customer relations, accounting, data entry, educational event coordination and correspondence. Must have knowledge of computer systems & software, office management principles and basic agricultural practices. Must be able to work independently and have time management skills. Ability to occasionally work outdoors and travel over uneven terrain is preferred.
20-40 hours per week (negotiable). Benefits (health insurance, retirement, paid holidays and paid leave) available at 30 or more hours.
