Good morning fellow residents. The assessment forms are mailed and some are coming back in. With that in mind, please be sure that all vehicles, trailers etc are listed. We use DOR to refer to. If the trailer or vehicle is still licensed in DOR it will not be removed without proof of sale. Any questions please call the office 573-897-2217. Have a great day.

We have been made aware here in the office that there is a grey SUV, out in the county claiming to be the Osage County Assesor. This is not us, we will call or introduce ourselves when we arrive, and our vehicle is clearly marked. Also we will never ask to enter a building. Please share

So we have been informed here at the office that there is a white van, that appears to be impersonating the Assessor's Office. We have a black Jeep Renegade, it is marked with license and decals. We always try to make ourselves known that we are on the property. If you ever question this please call the office @ 573-897-2217.

The Osage County Assesors Office is looking for a part-time person. This person will be doing many different tasks, such as computer work and also working in the field. The applicant needs to be knowledgeable in word and excel and willing to learn our real estate and personal property system.

The Osage County Assesors office is looking for a part time worker. This person will be working first hand with the public. The applicant must be able to multi task and have knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Word. The person will need to be able to keep up in a fast paced environment and needs to be willing to learn new things. Assessment form deadline, May 1 is quickly approaching. With that being said the form needs to be signed and returned even if you have no change, or we are required by statute to assess a penalty. If you have any questions or need help with the assessment form please contact our office.
