South side of town residents: since we are on new water lines and awaiting the new meter readers I will continue to bill based on historical charges.

BOIL ADVISORY NOW REMOVED
Effective Thursday 5/28/26 at 4:50PM we are removing the boil advisory with all water tests passing successfully.

The water line was reconnected. We are in a BOIL ADVISORY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Expecting tests back tomorrow.

PLEASE SHARE WITH RESIDENTS ON SOUTH SIDE OF LINN GROVE

WATER SHUT OFF AND BOIL ADVISORY

Please note that at 1PM Wednesday May 27, 2026 the water will be shut off for a few hours on the south side of Linn Grove to allow for a permanent connection to ILRW to be installed.
As part of that new connection process, we will then be under a boil advisory notice until samples have been tested and confirmed ok to proceed and remove the advisory.

It appears the mail delivery of our utility notices is delayed again this month. If you have not yet received your bill, please pay based on what you have been paying normally for the last few months as our bills are running on historical usage until meters are reinstalled. Thank You.

Water Project Update:
BD Construction has completed the installation of the water mains and sanitary sewer. Last week they worked on pressure testing and bacteria testing the mains and they have now passed the pressure tests for the system.

BD construction will be back on-site this week and Northern Directional will be on site later in the week to start working on water services. Plans are still finalizing, but they will likely start on water services on Grove, Ward, and Sweet Street, as well as switch over water services in the downtown area. Once these services are completed, they will most likely start on Evans Street and Weaver Street such that they can continue shutting down the existing water system as services are transitioned over. We will start coordinating with property owners to install services into the house. Please work with our project team / city council members to help make this as easy as possible.

Water readings will be moving to estimates based on the last few months usage as we start to progress to new meters being installed with the water improvement project.
If you would prefer to have accurate readings each month and therefore billing, please provide your water reading each month by the last day of the month. Ie for the bill due to come out Oct 5, all readings must be submitted by Sep 30.
