A message from the Lindon Police Department:
As summer approaches, we’re seeing more kids and teens riding e-bikes and electric motorcycles throughout our community. With Utah’s updated laws surrounding these devices, we want to help keep everyone safe by making sure parents and riders understand the new requirements and expectations.

These changes were created to improve safety, reduce serious crashes, and help riders of all ages responsibly enjoy Utah’s roads and trails. We encourage parents to take a few minutes to review the new rules with their children, especially regarding age restrictions, supervision requirements, registration, and where certain devices can legally be operated.

Our goal is education first. By working together as a community, we can help prevent injuries and ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable summer.

Please review the information in the images below and visit the provided resources for additional details. Stay safe and ride responsibly.

NOTICE regarding Lindon City Cemetery Clean Up: Thank you to all who participated in the Memorial Day Celebration. The cemetery looks beautiful with all the flowers and decorations. Please remember to retrieve any of the decorations you want to keep by Sunday, May 31. Cemetery staff will begin removing the remaining Memorial Day decorations starting on Tuesday, June 2.
Just a reminder (other than during Memorial Week), grave decorations must be placed directly on top of the headstone. Objects driven into the ground such as wires, ornamental iron, shepherd hooks, solar lights, pinwheels etc. are not permitted and will be discarded. Also, glass, porcelain or any other breakable containers deemed hazardous or conflicting with maintenance may be removed and discarded by cemetery personnel.
Thank you for helping to keep our cemetery clean!

Join us this Memorial Day as we come together to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Our Memorial Day program will feature patriotic music, tributes to our veterans and fallen heroes, and special moments of remembrance as we recognize the true meaning of the holiday.

This year’s program will also include special recognition of the upcoming 250th anniversary of America’s Independence. As we reflect on the sacrifices that helped shape our nation, we also look ahead with pride to 250 years of freedom, service, and unity.

We invite all residents, families, and veterans to attend this meaningful community event.

Lindon City was fortunate to recognize our amazing Lindon Police Department this week!
Several officers and department employees were honored for their efforts in this challenging line of work including Sgt Gil Sanchez who was awarded Officer of the Year for the department. The Police Department also recognized a favorite citizen, Jo Ann Benson, for her wonderful support and kindness she frequently shares with the department.
Mayor Lundberg and City Council members were able to recognize Lindon's Chief of Police, Mike Brower, for his significant time and efforts ensuring pedestrian and traffic safety during the Lindon Temple Open House.
Lindon is blessed to have these good men and women looking out for us. Thank you to our awesome Lindon Police Department for all you do for Lindon City!
