Plowing operations have been completed. Snow removal is still ongoing near corners, and snow piles are continuing to be cleared.
We understand that we have received an extraordinary amount of snow accumulation. We kindly ask all residents to please maintain their sidewalks, whether common or not to help ensure safe passage for everyone, including first responders.

To assist our Fire Department, please shovel at least 3 feet around any fire hydrant near your property to ensure it is accessible if needed.

Thank you all for your patience and cooperation today. With your help, we were able to complete this work in a timely manner. We truly appreciate the community effort.

Please remember to check in on your neighbors and seniors during this time.

STORM UPDATE

A meeting was held today between Winfield OEM, Township officials, and Housing Board members. It was decided that vehicles will be moved from the roadway tomorrow, February 24, 2026, beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m.

This decision was made after reviewing the storm timing and prioritizing the safety of both our plow operators, who have been working nonstop since 5:00 p.m. yesterday, and residents who need to dig out their vehicles.

Vehicle removal will follow the Township’s Snow Removal Protocol. The first street to be cleared will be Gulfstream Avenue. We are again asking residents to please refrain from parking in front of the school on Gulfstream Avenue so the school can return to normal operations as quickly as possible.

Residents will receive a Code red notification, via a phone call, text message and email, when your area is scheduled to be cleared.
Please help your neighbors and seniors by assisting with clearing snow from vehicles.

Thank you.

❄️ Snow Event Parking Reminder – We Appreciate Your Help ❄️

We understand that parking can be especially challenging during snow events. Snow piles take up space, and everyone is just trying to manage the best they can. We truly appreciate how difficult it can be.

That said, based on lessons learned from the last storm, we are asking residents to please refrain from parking along Gulfstream Avenue in front of the school during the upcoming snow event.

When vehicles are parked in that area, it significantly slows snow removal operations. Keeping those spaces clear allows our crews to plow and clear the roadway efficiently and safely, helping us prepare the school for reopening as quickly as possible.

We appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and continued support in helping us keep our students and community safe.

Thank you for working with us.
