Friends of Linden Library, Inc The Friends of the Linden Library advocate for and promote the Linden Free Public Library

Since 1986, The Friends of the Library organize special programming aimed to improve education and foster love of reading in children as well as arranging trips to places of cultural interest and events for all patrons. . We sponsor programs and fundraise to help support new library services, technologies and building of quality collections so that it may fulfill its literary, educational, techno

logical, community, and cultural purposes. Our non-profit organization raises funds - through dues collection and fundraising - which are allocated to provide extras that fall outside the regular budget of the Library such as:

• Children's programs
• Museum passes and booking system
• Books on CD
• DVDs
• Amenities within the library
• Movie Programs
• Art exhibits
• Book Clubs
• Reading Programs for Adults and Children
• Therapy Dog
• Educational Animal Programs

Today the Friends of Linden Library were presented with a check for $3,600 on behalf of Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits who have warehouse facilities in Linden, and UFCW local 1-D.

Helpsy's mission is to keep clothing out of the trash. Helpsy recycles or sells all the donated clothing and the Friends recieve a portion of the profits. Bring your unwanted clothing and shoes to the library and place them in the blue Helpsy bin
