Now Hiring: Administrative Assistant
The Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our Chamber team.
This position serves as the first point of contact for Chamber members, visitors, and the general public while providing administrative, clerical, event, and organizational support to Chamber staff.
The ideal candidate will be professional, welcoming, and courteous in all interactions, whether in the Chamber office, at events, over the phone, or through written communication. This person should be able to multitask, stay organized, maintain a positive attitude, lift and move at least 10 pounds, and provide support in a fast-paced office and event environment.
Key skills and qualifications include:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with social media and basic website management
• Ability to quickly learn new software and programs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Ability and willingness to take initiative and lead projects when needed
Work Schedule
• Monday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Some evening and weekend work is required during Chamber events and activities.
Benefits
• 16 paid holidays after 90 days of employment

Compensation
• Hourly position
• Earning potential of approximately $35,000–$40,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
