to me, Jason, eadams, communications.
Dear Steve, Jason, Ellie and Owen:
Please be aware that the Town of Lincolnville plans to close Slab City Road to through traffic on Monday, July 10th to replace the drainage structure that carries the water from Coleman Pond under Slab City Road. Due to the construction type the closure is allowed by contract to last until September 3rd. While we are hopeful that the project will be completed sooner than this date at this time plan on the closure lasting through September 3rd. Traffic will be allowed to use Slab City Road from both directions up to the project site but the road will be closed to traffic at the site itself. In fact for most of the project duration the road itself at the project site will be completely removed to facilitate installation.
To assist in public safety response the last residence that will be accessible from the east end (the State Route 173 end) of Slab City Road is the Wight-Bakker residence located at 368 Slab City Road. From the west end of Slab City Road (the State Route 52 end) the residence nearest the closure is located at 391 Slab City Road (there are no street numbers assigned between 368 and 391). Please note that Mass Pike is the last road available on the western side of the project site and Rena Young Lane is the last road available on the eastern side of the project site.
Please feel free to share this information with any and all who might be concerned. We want to make this as easy as possible for our emergency service providers so if you have any questions or concerns please contact me.
