At approximately 4:53 p.m. on April 2, 2026, the Lincolnshire Riverwoods Fire Protection District (LRFPD) was dispatched to a structure fire on Cherrywood Lane in Riverwoods.

The Lincolnshire Riverwoods Fire Protection District was assisted by the fire departments from Deerfield-Bannockburn, Lake Forest, Northbrook, Highland Park, Mundelein, Lake Zurich, Buffalo Grove, Countryside, Libertyville, Long Grove, and Lake Bluff, along with the Riverwoods and Lincolnshire Police Departments.
