Each year, Honda is one of our biggest contributors to Toys for Tykes. Today, they dropped off 4 vehicles FULL of toy donations. We are so grateful for their continued contributions.

We have officially started sorting toys! The deadline for applications has passed, but we will still be taking toy and monetary donations through Christmas(and after for next year).

If you’re planning to donate toys, needs we already see are 5-8 year old boy and girl toys (Barbies, LOL dolls, rainbow and monster high, action figures, sports balls, etc).

We’re so grateful for the help of LFD. We truly couldn’t do it without them (we’ve tried… Turns out police officers aren’t great at bicycle assembly).

Just wrapped up the last load of bikes. A huge thank-you to the men and women of the Lincoln Fire Department for their incredible support.

Today, Friday, December 5, 2025, is the FINAL day to turn in applications for Lincoln Police Department Toys for Tykes. Please have all applications turned in by 3 pm TODAY.

We are unable to accept late applications this year.

Every year, Lincoln Fire Department assists with our toy drive by assembling all our bicycles. Today, Fire Chief Miller, Fire Captain Rager, Police Chief Gore, K9 Officer Turner, and Officer Jones loaded the first round of bicycles!

THIS Friday, December 5, is the deadline to turn in applications for Toys for Tykes. Wednesday, December 3, is the deadline to PICK UP an application.

Late applications will not be accepted.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Please ensure that you have all required documentation (proof of income for all household residents and proof of residence with the applicant's name) BEFORE coming to turn in an application and please ensure that you ONLY turn in applications to Lin or Kirby.

Remember, you can ONLY turn in applications when records staff is in the office! Wednesday, December 3, is the last day to pick up an application and next Friday, December 5, is the deadline for applications. No late or incomplete applications will be accepted this year!

We accept toy and cash donations all year long and our records clerks shop after Christmas sales, Prime Day, Black Friday, and clearance all year to find the best deals on the best toys.

Today, we’re pulling all the toys out and sorting them to find our needs and form our game plan for Black Friday!

We cannot thank our community enough for contributing to this each and every year and helping make Christmas magical for the children in our area!

Please carefully read the application and ensure you have all documentation required before coming to turn in your application. We DO NOT want to have to deny any families based on a technicality!

PLEASE note, this is a toy drive to benefit children in the LINCOLN, ALABAMA city limits and police jurisdiction and is funded by donations from our community. You MUST live in Lincoln or the police jurisdiction to be eligible. We have, on a case-by-case basis, accepted families from outside Lincoln in the past, but we are unable to continue that as the need in our own community grows.

If you live outside our jurisdiction and need assistance, we can try to help you find resources in your area.

As a reminder, fraud will result in disqualification for 3 years regardless of your residency. While this is a toy drive and one of our favorite times of year, we are still a police department; please do not attempt to falsify any documentation. We will be verifying the authenticity of submitted documents.

Applications are out!

You can pick up an application anytime between now and December 3. All applications are due by December 5.

Applications MUST be turned in to Lin or Kirby Monday-Friday 8 am-4 pm. Please do not leave your application with a patrol officer, at the window, or at city hall.

Toys for Tykes applications will be available at the Lincoln Police Department beginning Monday, November 3, 2025 at 8 am. We have attached a copy of the application.

PLEASE review the application carefully, it has changed from prior years. Incomplete applications cannot be accepted. It is our hope that giving extra notice of what is required will allow any applicants time to gather the required documentation.
